Abstract

We are living in a high time where we have to keep ourselves safe from the adverse effect of pollution that have on our nature and on the human being also. We see nowadays a very huge extent of pollution, and deaths this pollution and activities related to it causing. It is the need of the hour where we must opt for an alternative which is low on the pollution, and subsequently on the deaths. Not only biodiesel produces sulphur-less and less toxic and low particulate matter consisting emissions, but it also is a renewable source of energy as major part of it extracted is from the vegetable oil or from the animal fat. This not only makes humanity eligible for renewability but also to a more environment friendly energy resource to be depended up-on. Batch technique for extraction of biodiesel from vegetable oil were studied. The experimental results show 99.2% purify of biodiesel on extraction from vegetable oil.
