Trees Conservation: Protecting Life on Earth

Chhavi Jain

Abstract

Today, one of the biggest concerns about the environment and our Earth is the need for tree conservation. Trees are the cornerstones of all the ecosystems and the building blocks for all the living organisms on Earth. It is difficult to even imagine our lives without trees. There would be no place for the birds and animals to live and have leisure time. Trees stabilize soils, regulate water and carbon cycles, and provide oxygen and other wealth of products to living beings on Earth. Without trees, these all would be gone and it is easy to believe that there would be no life on Earth. Trees are thus a fundamental part of our life.
