Industrial Solid Waste Management: Short Review

Abstract


Solid waste has become a problem for many urban cities and an actual crisis for others. With the advent of rapid industrialization, there is increased amount of wastes being disposed of on land or in open water bodies. This is creating a serious problem for the whole ecosystem. Waste management is required to be dealt with on a serious note; else the long-lasting effect of these wastes can be disastrous to the well-being of all living organisms.
