Studies on drying characteristics of wet biomass

Susarla Venkata Ananta Rama Sastry, P. Ananta Sai

Abstract

This work determines the drying characteristics (drying rate, critical moisture content, equilibrium moisture content) of the wet biomass sample in a tray dryer. The parameters studied were Weight of biomass powder (200/300 gm) and Moisture content (10, 20, 30, 40 %).
