A Complete Evaluation of the Organic Composition of Sewage Sludge Taken from Some Pumping Stations in Benghazi-Libya

Abstract

Raw sewage sludge samples collected from sixteen wastewater-pumping stations at Benghazi city have undergone complete evaluation of organic composition parameters including pH, Total Volatile Solid (TVS), Total Nitrogen (TN), Total Phosphorus (TP), Total Organic Matter (TOM) and Total Organic Carbon (TOC). The monthly and spatial variations in sludge properties have been described.
