Manufacturing and Recycling of Plastic Versus Paper bags: Implications on the Environment

Abstract

Disposable bags although convenient for daily use but they have several risk factors associated when it comes to the environment. As per the estimates of Environmental Protection Agency, approximately five hundred billion and one trillion disposable bags are used each year around the world. Disposable bags and other bags used for day-to-day need are available in diverse types, based on the material they are made of.
