MANUFACTURING OF CHLORINATED PARAFFIN WAX AND SULPHO CHLORINATED PARAFFIN WAX
Abstract
The use of chlorinated paraffin wax and sulpho-chlorinated paraffin wax in daily life is increasing day by day. They are used as flame retardant, in rubber industry, paints, adhesives, caulks, sealants, and manufacturing of different types of plastics like PVC. Here in this article, we have presented the manufacturing process for chlorinated paraffin wax (including sulpho) along with chemical reaction and mass balance.
