Abstract

Modern Airplanes now routinely use gas turbine engines as their propulsion technology. This research offers a thorough review of the variables influencing the performance analysis of gas turbine aircraft engines. The fundamentals of how gas turbine engines work as well as the variables that impact their efficiency, such as air pressure, humidity, and temperature. The components of gas turbine engines include the compressor, combustor, and turbine,. The techniques for assessing the performance of gas turbine engines, including thermodynamic cycle analysis and empirical techniques, are then reviewed. Finally, the impact on the performance of developments in gas turbine engine technology is discussed.
