Abstract

A single polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) microfluidic device is fabricated by the maskless lithography, hot embossing lithography and direct bonding technique. This device is tested by dyed aqueous ethanol (10% ethanol, 90% dyed water) in leakage-free condition. The passive capillary flow of dyed aqueous ethanol is recorded by a CMOS camera catching 25 frames per second. This work will be useful in commercial bioengineering applications.
