Soil : Our Need

Vijay Kumar Pandey

Abstract

Helpful soil microorganisms exist in soils, so these species are nature's unsung heroes. They develop potential interaction with plants, among other things, to shield them from harm and give plants with nourishment. Dust, chemicals, as well as other unwanted substances from surface water by soil. Which is because many of the healthiest sources of water are underground. Natural methods, like soil uptake, chemical filtration, and the nutrition cycle, according to Soils. Heavy rain as during rainy months exacerbates the problem by hastening soil degradation on the steps slopes. Plants and trees need soil to protect them from degradation and being wiped away in strong rainstorms. Soil provides the necessary support for root systems to prevent trees and plants from being uprooted by strong wind damage as well as other kinds extreme climate. The acute water shortage during November-March is another hurdle in crop production in hilly areas as well as other areas of the state. In addition, soil acidity exceed its limit the optimum nutrient availability in different field crops. Farm workers either do not apply any fertilizers for agricultural production or perform soil testing without any background experience. Like a result, field crops frequently suffer from visible nutrient deficits, decreasing soil quality.
