Utilizing Image Analysis to Detect Diseases in Plants

Nisha Kumari Pandey

Abstract

The role of agriculture today extends far beyond providing food for an expanding growth of economy.   This implies that it feeds a diverse range of people. First and primarily, disease-related reduced agricultural quality must be taken into account. By becoming familiar with the symptoms and performing protection, you may save your plants against crippling diseases. The pathogen must first be identified in a holistic method. Select a treatment strategy that is responsible, secure, and successful after that. For help identifying plant diseases, continue reading and save this page. A solution to halting agricultural losses may lie in virus to detect. The goal of this study is to create a computer programme that can automatically locate and categorise diseases. Instances of disease identification include loading a picture, pre-processing, segmentation, retrieval, and categorization. To identify plant diseases, images of the leaves are used. Using an image processing technology to identify and categorise illnesses in agricultural applications is therefore beneficial. On indoor houseplants and in the landscape, fungus leaf blight disease is the most common problem. That takes place when it's humid and heated. The fungus spots get bigger and bigger till they contact each other when the sickness worsens. Now, rather of having patches on the leaf surface, there are more blotches. An affected plant may lose all of its leaves. Follow the same advice given for preventing black spots.
