Review on Photo-electrochemical & Photo-voltaic cell

Mustafa T. Mohammed Alhashimi, Ruaa Shallal Abbas Anooz

Abstract

ABSTRACT

The review  includes a theoretical survey  of previous studies in the field of  electrochemistry or electrochemistry  that link the engineering of materials and machinery mechanics to electrical chemistry and which study reactions occurring at the surfaces of electrical conductors (such as electrodes consisting of metals) and semiconductors like graphite) and ionic solutions such as electrolytes., Photovoltaics  are growing rapidly, from a small base to a global capacity of 46,400 MW at the end of 2011, which represents 0.5% of the global demand for electricity. 5 More than 100 countries use solar PV. The installation of the cells is either ground (it is combined sometimes) With agriculture) or built in the roof or walls of the building (integrated building with photovoltaics). The cost of solar energy has decreased steadily since it was first manufactured, and the level of electricity cost for photovoltaic cells is able to compete with traditional electricity sources at the level of expansion in geographical areas. There is a policy from the electricity company that a special invoice is sent to consumers who use renewable energy sources in some Regions of the world.
