REVIEW OF HETEROCYCLIC COMPOUNDS AND APPLICATION FOR SUSTAINABILITY

Neha Sahu, Rizwan Arif

Abstract

Heterocyclic compounds constitute the most extensive and varied group among organic compounds. Today, there are many heterocyclic compounds that are known, and as a result of extensive synthetic research as well as their usefulness in synthetic processes, this number is steadily growing. Heterocyclic molecules play a pivotal role in numerous scientific fields, such as medicinal chemistry and biochemistry, highlighting the blurred boundaries between various chemical disciplines. Heterocyclic chemistry seamlessly extends into numerous other areas within the field of chemistry. The intricate processes of life are intimately connected with heterocyclic compounds. The significant significance of heterocycles to both the pharmaceutical and agrochemical sectors often stems from their presence in the natural world. Heterocyclic systems are produced by synthetic chemistry. Over 90% of brand-new medications include heterocycles and the interface.
