Nanomaterials of Naturally Synthesized Carbon for Solar Energy Generation

Swati Bhatti

Abstract

Energy and environmental uses for carbon nanoparticles are incredibly promising. It is necessary to develop a broad range of environmentally acceptable and greener synthesis techniques that make use of affordable, renewable, natural waste resources. Thus, greenhouse gas emissions, the
usage of harmful materials, and the advancement of environmentally friendly technologies will all be reduced. The synthesis of new one-dimensional (carbon nanotubes, carbon nanofiber, etc.) and two-dimensional carbon-based products utilizing renewable substrates and waste materials
has made significant progress over the past ten years. This paper summarizes such progress. This review paper's objective is to present a thorough scientific development of the synthesis of carbon nanotubes from natural precursors and waste products for the foreseeable future. Since
they promise to create better and higher-quality CNTs on huge quantities, production of natural hydrocarbon substrates and waste materials has expanded in recent years.
