Post-Independence Agricultural development in India

Abstract

India is a developing country and a land of agriculture. Here, agricultural is the main source of occupation for the growing population as well as the total income of the country. The agricultural sector has undergone through and has witnessed several developmental changes since independence. This includes a growth rate of 1 % before independence to nearly 4 % as of today.
